Prime Minister of Georgia Visits the Fully-Rehabilitated Public School N2 Named After Zhiuli Shartava in Senaki
Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia visited the Public School N2 named after Zhiuli Shartava in Senaki, which has undergone full rehabilitation.
Together with Minister of Education, Science and Youth Givi Mikanadze and other members of the Government, the Prime Minister of Georgia inspected the renovated school.
The Head of Government of Georgia reviewed the school infrastructure together with the Minister of Education, Science and Youth and met with teachers.
As a result of the infrastructure works carried out at the school, which is designed for over 600 students, educational spaces were renovated and a library, reading hall, resource room, medical office, technology laboratory, outdoor sports area and assembly hall were arranged.
The building was equipped with an elevator, heating, water supply, sewage, fire safety and video surveillance systems. The school has also been adapted for persons with disabilities.
The school stadium is also expected to undergo full rehabilitation in the near future.
The rehabilitation of the historic school was carried out with financial support from the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.
