Davit Verava: Municipalities of Our Region Are Fully Prepared to Ensure Organized Transportation of Citizens to Tbilisi

In honor of His Holiness and Beatitude, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II, free transportation to Tbilisi will be provided from all municipalities of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region.

According to the State Representative in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Davit Verava, by decision of the Government of Georgia, transportation from the regions will be free of charge for citizens on March 21–22.

“Our region’s municipalities are fully prepared to ensure the organized transportation of citizens to Tbilisi. Once again, I express my deep sorrow over the passing of His Holiness, Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II, and extend my condolences to the entire nation,” Davit Verava stated.

Information regarding transport schedules and routes is available on the official pages of the municipalities. Additionally, Georgian Railway has scheduled extra train services from Zugdidi and Poti.
