Rural Support Program - Meetings in Martvili and Abasha

Within the framework of the "Rural Support Program", the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, David Verava, along with his deputy and the heads of the municipalities, attended meetings held with the population of Inchkhuri and Ontopo in Martvili and Senaki municipalities.
The State Representative spoke to the locals about the importance of the program and learned about the needs in the villages. According to Davit Verava, general meetings and consultations have already been held in most of the villages in the region and priorities have been selected.
"Within the framework of the Village Support Program, we have already held more than 250 village meetings and consultations in our region, where citizens themselves chose priorities and projects to be implemented. The program's budget in our region is up to 7 million GEL. This is a good opportunity not only for this project but also to identify other needs," said David Verava.
Within the framework of the "Rural Support Program", small infrastructure projects identified as priorities by locals in administrative units are financed.
