The Chairman of the Government of Abkhazia met with veterans living in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti

Levan Mgaloblishvili, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, together with Davit Verava, Governor of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region, met with veterans displaced from Abkhazia.

During the meeting was discussed issues of increasing access to healthcare services for veterans and their socio-economic empowerment.

The Chairman of the Government introduced the veterans to the existing health and social programs, which are implemented with the support of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia. The meeting also discussed future plans.

The Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia has already met with displaced veterans living in Tbilisi. Similar meetings will be held throughout the country to assist and resocialize veterans.
