The State Governor was briefed on the progress of infrastructure projects

The construction of road infrastructure is actively underway in Zugdidi Municipality.

Road rehabilitation works are being carried out by the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, David Verava, Zugdidi delegate to the Parliament of Georgia, David Kodua, Deputy State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Luduk Khasia,Zugdidi Deputy Mayor Besik Chezhia, along with representatives of relevant services, visited the site.

The first stage of the rehabilitation of the Rike-Zadaetseri connecting road is underway. The project cost is 1,806,133 GEL.

Road construction is underway in Zedaetseri, Satordio district. The project cost is 448,997 GEL.

Road rehabilitation works are being carried out with funding from the Regional Development Fund and the local budget.

As for the rehabilitation of the city's streets, the works are in the final stage. This year, 67 streets in the city have been rehabilitated.

For reference, this year, 212 infrastructure projects were implemented in Zugdidi Municipality, the cost of which amounted to 121,415,308 GEL. Up to 50 km of local roads will be rehabilitated. Up to 24 million GEL was spent for this.

The development of road infrastructure remains one of the priorities of the City Hall in 2025.
