Memorandum of Understanding Signed between the Austrian Federal Land of Tyrol and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region, the agreement was signed by Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti State Representative Giorgi Guguchia and Tyrol Federal Land Governor Gunther Platter.

The Memorandum of Understanding aims at cooperation between the parties in the fields of economy, tourism, culture, education, sports, civil security. As well as sharing experiences. Holding joint forums and entrepreneurial exhibitions-fairs, meetings of entrepreneurs and elaboration of joint projects. According to the memorandum, partnership cooperation will be established between Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region and Tyrol federal land municipalities.

The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region and the Federal Lands of Tyrol became possible within the framework of the visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Austria Ketevan Tsikhelashvili to the Federal Land of Tyrol. The document was signed by the Governor of the Federal Land of Tyrol during Tsikhelashvili's visit.
