At this stage Rukhi Hospital can receive 72 patients

Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Ekaterine Tikaradze together with Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti State Representative visited Rukhi Hospital.  According to Ekaterine Tikaradze, at this stage 35 doctors are mobilized in the medical institution and clinic can receive 72 patients at this time, 14 of them are difficult or complicated.

"At this stage, the clinic has the resources to receive 72 patients, including 14 in complicated or complicated conditions. We will further strengthen those opportunities of Rukhi Hospital which it has and will gradually double these numbers. Then we reach Rukhi Hospital full capacity, which is a multiprofile hospital , has  220 beds and will be fully involved in the management of covidification." Stated  the Minister of Health.

According to the State Representative, Rukhi Hospital will serve citizens on both sides of the occupation line. As the State Representative Alexander Motserelia explained, the institution is ready to accept all citizens who live in occupied Abkhazia and will need medical care.

In the future, the clinic will be able to perform the function of a university. There is a space for auditoriums, library and sports-sanitary infrastructure on site. The project of Rukhi Multiprofile Medical Clinic was funded with 41 million GEL from the state budget.

The construction works were carried out by the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure.
