Used Plastic Recycling Plant

"Global Recycling Co" company will developed to used plastic recycling plant in Khobi Municipality.

Today Deputies of the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Luduk Khasia and David Verava together with Chairman of Khobi Municipality Council Edisher Jobava and Deputy Mayor of Khobi Municipality Makhare Chokoraya met with representatives of   "Global Recycling Co" company funded by investment of  Dutch company „H.I.P. Trade.“

During the production process, polymer granules will be formed, which will be realized both in local and foreign markets.

In order to implement the project, the company purchased land in the Khobi Municipality through auction under the project "100 Investment Proposals for Business".

The total investment volume of the project is over GEL 30 million, as investors explained, about 500 people will employed in the company.

The company also plans to attract foreign companies engaged in the processing and production of polymers, as a result, a full value chain will be created on site and new export products will be launched.
