The State-sponsored laurel enterprise in Chkhorotsku has exported 16 tons of products to the Ukrainian market.

 Laurel Enterprise "Jummity 2014" which is located in Chkhorotsku have already been exported  16 tons of products to the Ukrainian market. The modern standards  relevant enterprise plans to enter the European market this year and intends 120 ton crude laurel leaf recycling.  The enterprise is 100% export oriented.

The  first Deputy of the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Davit Partvania  together with Chkhorotsku Mayor and Chairman of Sakrebulo got acquainted with the production process.

More than 1 million GEL has been invested to build a modern enterprise,  within the framework of the United Agricultural Projectsentrepreneur received a state grant of GEL 376,000.

"Jummity 2014" has more than 200 beneficiaries in Samegrelo and Guria regions,the company takes laurel raw and dried leaves from their small family farm. In total, only the amount allocated to beneficiaries in 2019, exceeded GEL 326,000. The company opened in Chkhorotsku since 2019 and about 40 locals are employed.
