A new Hazelnut Dryer has been opened in Koki

A new Hazelnut Dryer has been opened in Zugdidi municipality village Koki. Within the framework of the united "Agro Project" with the support of the State established  LLC "Koki 2014" warehouse equipped with modern standards.

The  enterprise Built with the support of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia, AgriGeorgia / Ferrero and USAID's Nut “Georgian Nut Sector Development Project" (G-HIP).

A total investment of 770,000 GEL has been implanted in the enterprise,  where from, 285,000 GEL  is a state grant and the share of other donors and beneficiaries.

The  State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Alexander Motserelia,  Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Giorgi Khanishvili, USAID Mission Director Peter Weibler opened the drying-warehouse farm and got acquainted the production process.

Since 2013, with the State support, within the framework of the United Agrarian Project, 200 new enterprises were financed out of which 24 new enterprises were established in Samegrelo region.
