Festival of Caucasian Poetry was held in Anaklia

The Circassian (Adyghe) Cultural Center, with the support of Zugdidi City Hall, holds the third Caucasian Poetry Festival in Anaklia.

At  Anaklia Festival  was presented a collection of Caucasian poetry which unites in one book the poems and heroic of Georgian, Circassian, Abkhaz, Chechen, Ingush, Khundz, Darghu and Ossetian poets, as well as their translations into the languages of the Caucasian peoples.

The festival was opened by the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Alexander Motserelia. Anaklia Festival presented writers, literati, musicians and performers from the Caucasus. The honorary guest of the festival is Isa Kadzoyev, a folk writer from Ingushetia. Within the framework of the Caucasus Poetry Festival,  the first held an exhibition of Caucasian headgear. The festival "Anaklia 2019" also features works by Circassian artist Janti Bashi, which the author donated to the Circassian Cultural Center
