Snail farm opens in khobi

A snail farm has opened in the village of Akhali Khibula in Khobi Municipality within the the state-run United Agro Project by the LLC “Nady Group”.  1,41 million GEL (has been invested to build the farm, which is equipped along modern standards and employs ten local residents.

The farm, located in the village of Akhali Khibula in Khobi Municipality, produces around 50 tonnes of snail meat per year, mainly for export.

A total of 200 new enterprises have been financed in Georgia within the United Agro Project, including 25 in Samegrelo.
