''NATO Days 2019'' was held in Mestia

The event  held in Mestia within the framework of “NATO Days 2019”. Head  of mission at the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia Rosaria Puglisi held an informational meeting with the locals,wich attended by the Deputy of the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Nino Vibliani and local government officials. Georgia traditionally celebrates "NATO" days on October 3-31, during last 12 years. The purpose of the project is to support increase Georgian citizens  understanding and awareness on the mechanisms, perspectives and challenges of cooperation between the North Atlantic Alliance, Georgia and NATO. This year, NATO Days are especially celebrated in the regions of Georgia. where up to 70 events will be held by organized of  Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NATO and EU Information Center,  Specifically, in 10 regions of the country, within the framework of NATO Days meetings  are planned with pupils, students, teachers, public officials, local authorities, ethnic minorities, residents of villages near the occupation line and media.
