A fully rehabilitated public school has been opened in Kirtskhi

The village of Kirtskhi in Chkhorotsku municipality opened fully rehabilitated public school by “Millennium” Challenge Fund. The students held the event dedicated to the fall of Sokhumi.

the event attended by the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti  Alexander Motserelia, Deputy US Ambassador Elizabeth Rood, Tsalenjikha and Chkhorotsku majoritarian MPs and local officials.

The school infrastructure was fully rehabilitated and equipped with a natural science lab, which improved the learning environment for up to 160 students.

In 2019, within the framework of the project, the Foundation for Infrastructure Development of Public Schools.  33 public schools were fully rehabilitated, including seven public schools in the Samegrelo region: Zugdidi public school N4, Zugdidi public school N8, Zugdidi public school N10, Darcheli public school N1, Ingiri public school N2, Inchkhuri public school and Kirtskhi public school N1. The “Millennium” Challenge Fund, In 2014-2019, 91 public schools were fully rehabilitated in all regions of Georgia, as a result, the learning environment has improved for up to 40,000 students. The public school rehabilitation project budget is $ 54 million.
