Anaklia road and railway project works been in active phase

rojecting of the railway station and 18-kilometer road section running to Anaklia deep sea water port has been actively underway. At this time, topogeodesic activities are to be completed soon and geological works are supposed to launch.

4 teams have been working simultaneously. Environmental impact assessment and resettlement action plan will be elaborated within the scope of the project as well.

The State Representative of Samegrelo Zemo-Svaneti Alexander Motserelia and Deputy Chairman of the Roads Department of Georgia Levan Kupatashvili have been on the spot and got acquainted with ongoing projecting works in Anaklia.

Projecting of the railway station and 18-kilometer road section running to Anaklia deep sea water port is being carried out by Australian multinational company "Smeky". "Smeky" is supposed to finish projecting in October. The contractual cost of the project will cost 7 million GEL.

Construction of the railway station and 18-kilometer road section running to Anaklia deep sea water port is planned to launch in December, 2019.
