Poti Port Hosts Turkish Ship ''TCG BAYRAKTAR (L-402)''

   The port of Poti is hosting the Turkish ship "TCG BAYRAKTAR (L-402)" and marine infantry. Up to 400 students of the first course of the Marine Military University of the Turkish National Defense University are on the ship and they will undergo marine training.

  The event was attended by First Deputy Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Irakli Jikia, Poti Mayor Gocha Kurdadze, representatives of the Coast Guard of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, General Consul in Turkey, Makboule Kochak and representatives of local self-government. The purpose of the visit is to improve the theoretical knowledge practices.

 The ship, TCG BAYRAKTAR (L-402), will leave Poti port on September 17.
