Marine Construction works of the Deep-Water Port of Anaklia Started

  Aleksandre Motserelia attended the official launching of large-scale marine construction works in Anaklia.

Head of Anaklia Development Consortium Mamuka Khazaradze, Minister of Economy Giorgi Kobulia, Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Alexander Motserelia, representatives of the Government Agencies and the international company "Van Oord" founder of the Anaklia Port project attended the event.

One of the world's leading marine infrastructure companies, Van Oord, is the winner of the international tender and the construction of the Anaklia Deepwater Port is planned for 9 phases, estimated at $ 2.5 billion, and construction began in December 2017 with early ground work. The first ships are planned to be received by the end of  2020 .
