Aleksandre Motserelia appointed as a Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti

Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze presented new governors today.

Aleksandre Motserelis will be the Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region. Alexandre Motserelia comes from the private sector in the State Structure.

"He has very interesting business projects experience in agriculture. As you know, one of our main objectives is the inclusive growth of the economy in the regions and I am sure that he will be able to contribute in this case, "Mamuka Bakhtadze said.

At the same time, accordging to the Prime Minister, Nino Vibliani will be appointed as a Deputy Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, who still occupies the post of City Hall in Chuberi village.

Besides the governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, the Prime Minister has presented new state Attorneys in Guria, Imereti, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Kvemo Kartli, Shida Kartli and Mtskheta-Mtianeti.

As the head of the Government noted, one of the main priorities of the government is the equal development of regions. People living in rural areas have many problems and it is not enough to implement separate projects to solve them. According to the Prime Minister, those plans, which were set up for the development of the regions, should be carried out perfectly and with a very high level of discipline.

"The Governors have a great responsibility to feel that people living in different parts of the country feel that they care about the state. In addition, one of the important tasks for me is to create another important mechanism for communicating with the public, which will help us to have a direct connection with our population and, at the same time, get feedback on the problems in each village in order to have a better way Operational response. Accordingly, the Governors we have chosen today are able to use their qualifications, professionalism, enthusiasm and energy to help our nation and our country, "said Mamuka Bakhtadze.

The Prime Minister wished new Governors success in the future activity and noted that this post is the best opportunity for them to implement new ideas and vision.
