The Disaster Elimination Works Carried out in Tskhemi , Abasha municipality

The disaster liquidation works in the village of Tskemi, Abasha municipality are intensively going on. Rescue brigades and 15 units of technique are involved in the cleaning and restoration works. Simultaneously, the Mayor's Standing Commission works on the amount of damage inflicted by the disaster.

Deputy Ministers of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Ilia Begiashvili, Grigol Katsia, Deputy Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti and Davit Kodua, representatives of the local government ot aquainted with the existing situation.

Last night, about 10 families were evacuated from village Tskemi village in Abasha Municipality. The swollen river Abasha broke through dams and flooded the plots of the population and the first floors of the houses.
