Temporary Motor Bridge Connecting Ledzadzame-Kvauti in Senaki Municipality

In  Senaki Municipality, a temporary bridge will be constructed instead of the road bridge connecting Ledzadzame-Kvauti. The swollen river Tekhuri destroyed the Ledzadzame-Kvauti road bridge and left about 80 families off the outside world.

The Deputy Head of Roads Department Koba Gabunia, Deputy Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Davit Kodua, geologists and representatives of local government are visiting the place in the disaster zone.

Cleaning and restoration works are being carried out in Senaki today. Internal streets of the city and yards of local population are washed by means of special equipment. At the same time, the Loss Counting Permanent Commission works in parallel.

Heavy rains have disrupted internal roads, flooded the bridges and first floors of the houses in Senaki.
