New Forest Code for Chuberi Local Population

In the village of Chuberi new forest code was introduced to locals.

Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Justice Tea Tsulukiani and Head of Department of Relations with Regions of the Government Administration, Sozar Subari, together with local Government representatives, provided with detailed information about the new forest code.

The meeting was held in question-answer mode. Ministers talked about locals, land ownership, ecotourism, social programs and existing needs.

Acting Governor of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region Koba Kantaria, Member of Parliament Viktor Japaridze, Mestia Mayor Kapiton Zhorzholiani and representatives of Forestry Department attended the discussion of the new Forest Code.
