68 Regional and Finished Projects from Regional Development Fund in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti

Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Levan Shonia met the Mayors of the region and chairmen of the council. At the working meeting, the planned infrastructure projects and the existing ones were discussed. In 2018 the number of projects completed in the region will be 68 and the number of projects will be increased in the nearest future.

At the meeting with the Governor, they also talked about the situation in connection with Asian pests.According to the mayors' information; the fight against Pest is effectively underway.

,, Today I was personally in Coordination HQ for the fight against Pests, where I learned about the results, we have very good results and the National Food Agency does the maximum. I want to thank them for this. As a result of their self-sustaining work, the pest population is significantly reduced and the damage inflicted by them is minimized, which is a good result of coordinated work, "the Governor said.

Levan Shonia discussed the youth, cultural, sports and entertainment events planned in the regions at the meeting with the mayors of the region and chairmen of the City Council.

According to Levan Shonia, the region is most loaded with cultural and entertainment events: "There are many festivals, concerts and other cultural and entertainment events, successful festival" Way to Unity – Rukhi 2018 ", which was very important for us as well as for our sisters and brothers living in our occupied territories .The calendar of cultural and entertainment events of the region is quite representative and we tried to keep the whole summer and September as full as possible, which is going to be successful.
