Karate Team Championship held in Anaklia

In Anaklia, the Karate team championship was held on the transitional Cup. In Zugdidi, Zugdidi team won the first place, the second place was assigned to Tbilisi and the third to Imereti teams. In the frames of the championship, Super League was held between 8 and 16-year-old sportsmen.

The championship lasted for two days and the best teams of Georgia took part in it.

Kakha Basilia, president of Georgian Karate National Federation and Deputy Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Davit Kodua, together with local Government officials, delivered prizes, cash prizes, medals, cups and diplomas.

The winner team will travel to Trabzon on the Black Sea and Caspian Championship in August.

Georgian team championship is held annually in youth, and is organized by the Karate National Federation.
