The forum ''Institutional Dialogue of State and Local Authorities'' Ended

First Annual Forum of "Institutional Dialogue of State and Local Government" was completed in Akhaltsikhe. The Prime Minister, Ministers, Parliament Speaker, Members of Parliament, State Representatives, Local Government and NGOs participated in the forum for two days.

The meeting was attended by Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Governor Levan Shonia and Mayors of all municipalities of the region.

The second day of the forum continued with the Mayors' experiences. Together with Akhaltsikhe, Batumi, Gori and Marneuli Mayors, Zugdidi Mayor Lasha Gogia presented the achievements, challenges and plans of the municipality.

The initiator and host of the first annual forum of "Institutional Dialogue of the State and Local Government" is  the Committee on Regional Policy and Self-Government of the Parliament of Georgia, led by Zaza Gabunia.
