Irakli Karseladze and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Governor talked about Region Development

First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze, Chairman of Roads Department met Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Levan Shonia.

At the workshop, the existing problems in the region, current and planned infrastructural projects were discussed. They also focused on investment potential of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region and perspectives for region development. Discussions focused on the needs of the region's population, including roads and drinking water rehabilitation projects.

At the meeting, the first Deputy Minister and the Governor agreed to coordinate communication in the working process for closer and effective cooperation. At the meeting it was also decided that the representatives of the Ministry will study the situation in the regions in the nearest future and the relevant measures will be planned.

The First Deputy Minister will continue similar meetings with Governors of other regions.
