Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti congratulated 108 year old Venera Gatserhelia and celebrated March 8

Venera Gatserelia, resident of Zugdidi, has turned 108 today. Levan Shonia, Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti and Mayor of Zugdidi Municipality Lasha Gogia congratulated the elder  lady  on the anniversary and  International Women's Day.

Venera Gatserelia  was born in 1910. She has 6 children, 14 grandchildren, 28 great  grandchildren and 5 descendants of them.

Venera Gatchelia was married in 1942. She was a worker during the World War II . Zugdidi's most venerable  woman has been the first deputy  member of the regional council.

The Zugdidi City Hall is paying 500 GEL annually the people exceeding 100 years. The hero of the day has already receive this amount.
