Field Session of the Regional Policy and Self-Government Committee held in Anaklia

In Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, the first field sessionof the regional policy and self-government committee was held in Anaklia.

Draft lows on "amendments to the Code of Administrative infraction of Law" and on “amendments to the Law on Labor in Public Establishment" were considered with the first hearing  at the session.

After the discussions of the draft laws, the information about the progress of the infrastructural projects planned in the region and municipalities were introduced to the deputies and representatives of local government by the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Kakhaber Guledeni and the Head of the Infrastructural Projects Department Mindia Ghlonti.

Levan Shonia, Head of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region and Nugzar Gabelia, Head of Regional Projects Coordination Service presented the social and economic development peculiarities and future problems to the members of the parliament.

The MPs answered the questions of local self-government representatives concerning draft lows and initiatives.

The field session of the Regional Policy and Self-Government Committee was attended by the mayors of the municipalities of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, city councils’ chairmen, their deputies and heads of legal services.
