Meeting about the Grant Programme provided by the Embassy of Japan in Georgia

Today, at the meeting the representatives of Japanese Embassy introduced conditions of the Grant competition announced for municipalities and NGOs with  Deputies of the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti  and Region Municipality Mayors.

Grant projects should serve an acute problems of the public. The project should be stable and functioning in last 10 years after completed. Within the project, Municipalities can carry out construction and rehabilitation works or purchase of heavy equipments. The maximum amount per grant is 70 000 USD. The deadline for applications is August 12, 2019.

The meeting also attended  the Head of Regional Projects Coordination Service, Deputies of Mayor and  Representative  of the Infrastructure Service.
