The memory of heroes killed in the August War was Honored

Acting Governor of  Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Koba Kantaria and representatives of the Regional Administration honored the memory of the soldier Badri Berandze, who died in the August  war and laid the flowers of the hero's grave.

The acting Governor attended the event dedicated to the August War which took place in Khobi, and together with the Municipality Mayor Gocha Kajaia and Chairman of the City Hall Edisher Jobava, decorated memorial of the war with flowers.

The event was attended by family members of the dead heroes, local residents and Government officials.

Ten years have passed since the August war 2008. Russian aggression killed 37 people from Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region.
